Rhapsody of the seas

Port - Melbourne

we caught a tram from the ship, stopping first to take photos of the Spirit of Tasmania whiched was berthed right next to the Rhapsody.

Sites

- Federation Square - When Jack and i went to Melbourne in 2000 they where just building this, so it was nice to go back and see it not only finished but well established.

- We went to the Fitzroy Gardens and had a look at Captain Cooks Cottage. - A lovely garden that has many things to look at. Captains Cooks Cottage. The Fairy Tree, Sinclairs Cottage, Tudor village and more.

- The Melbourne Museum and seen Phar Lap. - Looked through the Forest Gallery. And The Melbourne Gallery and seen Phar Lap.

- City Circle tram tour. - Well worth doing, This was a wonderful trip that we took a couple of times around the city. Taking in all of the sites of my Beautiful Home town.

Dinner -

Entertainment - Soul Mystique This act was amazing. (Introducing Australia's very own dance and magical costume transformation artists. At Sea on the way to Melbourne.

Activities - Jack went to the Shed. I went to the scrapbooking. I watched the Afternoon Movie Nights in Rodanthe. We watched the Millionaire game show in the Shall we dance lounge.

Dinner -

Entertainment - Dan Elliot. We went to this twice. as he did a wonderful rendition of We are Australian.

Port - Adelaide.

We caught the train into Adelaide, Did the city Loop bus, then went to the museam had a coffee, then we went to the Botanical Gardens. then made our way back to the ship.

Visited Adelaide Botanic Garden - A very beautiful place to visit. well worth it if you get a chance to do so.

Visited South Australian Museum - Angel loved the Museums that we visited, there wasnt a lot to see in this one, but did fill in some time.

St Patricks Day

At sea still.

Activies - Jack went to the Shed. We watched the Horse racing at sea race by the pool. I went to the movies and watched The Duchess.

Day 4 was our first real day at sea.

Activites -

11am Jack and I went to the Cruise Critic Meet & Mingle.

1.00pm watched the belly flop comp by the pool.

2.30pm Chef's corner - "simple appetizers even you can do"

3.00pm Scrapbook Workshop "boarding day"

Entertainment - Hard Days Night

Port - Albany

We caught the free shuttle bus that was provided by the Albany Shire into the town. We had a look around the town and had a coffee.

Sites - Went into a lovely little gift shop where we brought some postcards. Did the Albany Heritage Trail Walk. and also went to the Museum.

Entertainment - Piano Man - The Royal Caribbean Singers and Dancers.

Our first port of call was to Bunbury as its an easy place for us to get to we decided to put angel in to Adventue Ocean (AO) for the day while we had a look around. As this was one of the ports that wanted 11US each way for the shuttle bus jack decided that it was easier to walk.. Hmm i think not as this was how i did my calf muscle and for the rest of the trip it hurt like hell wherever we went, and as we had to walk everywhere it wasnt a fun experience for me i can tell you. Finally got into the shopping area and had a coffee at Dome. Then went to the shopping center where there was a huge gathering of people and the gang for GWN as it was the "shave for a cure" day. ended up getting a taxi back sharing with two ladies that where also on the ship and that was only 5.00 for Both of us so that was good. Not sure of the entertainment that was on that night, i can recall it was a female singer that was supposed to be on later in that week. Dinner at the WJ.

Mum and Melissa took us to Fremantle. We went to the War Memorial in Fremantle first so we could see the Ship and take some photos of it. Then we drove to the dock. Checked in our main luggage. Said our goodbyes to Mum & Melissa. Went through to the Passenger Terminal. Had our passports scanned and then waited for our Sea Passes to be done. Then had a family photo taken before boarding Started exploring the ship after going to our room. Angel and I in the casino and on the deck before the ship left port in Fremantle. Did the muster drill. had a very long tour of the spa area. it was the only time that we ever went in there. Had Dinner in the Windjammer. Went to adventure ocean to sign angel in, in the whole trip it was the only time we where allowed in the room. The Entertainment was Los Pampas Gauchos (*)(or the Ole boys as Angel calles them). They are from Argentina.
